Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at La Fonda and experience their mouthwatering dishes for yourself!

Very cute spot! I had the shrimp enchiladas which were very good! Very moist and cooked just right! I'm really picky when my shrimp is overcooked! The service was quick and on point! I will definitely be back to try other items! The freshly fried chips were great too!

I wish there were more vegetarian options, but I'd much rather have limited amazing vegetarian options than several okay vegetarian options. I was so impressed by my quesadilla. Definitely want to come back. Our server, who I believe was also the owner or manager, was very friendly. She has a few health-related dietary restrictions, so as someone with celiac disease myself, I felt extremely comfortable eating here. It's so nice to actually partake in Los Angeles's amazing Mexican food without getting super sick! I wish Styrofoam wasn't used, but I'm sure small businesses need to do what they need to do

Great clean spot. Stopped for a quick lunch solo and got their steak burrito. Great tasting food. They also serve beans and salsa with chips with your food. Solid salsa's. Service was quick and friendly.

Great Chicken Street Tacos and Margaritas I recently visited La Fonda of Inglewood and had a pretty enjoyable experience overall. The chicken street tacos were delicious--definitely a highlight of the meal. However, I wasn't as impressed with the fish tacos. I was hoping for a softer, grilled style, but they were more on the hard-grilled side, which wasn't quite what I was expecting. The margaritas were a pleasant surprise--very tasty and refreshing! They definitely made up for the fish tacos and added to the experience. The customer service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. The restaurant is located in a nice plaza, and it looked like there might be additional seating in a back area, though I sat in the front. Overall, it's a good spot for tacos and drinks, especially if you're looking for tasty margaritas and good service. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

A bit late, but I just have to share our incredible experience at La Fonda! We were a group of nine heading to a concert at the Kia Forum, so we already had some challenges--limited time before the show and managing a large group. I was prepared for things to be tricky, but Frances and the team made the entire evening seamless and absolutely stress-free. Frances was exceptional from the start. Her communication was clear, professional, and prompt, and she handled our group with such ease and expertise. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly timed for us to enjoy our dinner and make it to the concert without a hitch. When we arrived, the restaurant was bustling (there were other large groups also heading to the Kia Forum), but despite how busy it was, everything ran like clockwork. Our food arrived on time, and every single dish was delicious--every person in our group was impressed. The service was impeccable, even during such a high-pressure, busy time. Parking? No issues at all, which is such a bonus when you're on a tight schedule. And when it was time to head out, the staff made sure we had clear directions to the Kia Forum, saving us time and hassle. La Fonda is now officially our go-to spot for pre-concert dinners! Fantastic food, flawless service, and a team that truly understands how to take care of their guests--even on a hectic night. Highly recommend!

Right off the bat we received a genuinely welcoming welcome from Kane. We were seated after the grand tour courtesy of our waitress, Frances. We walked in the door and we were offered margarita samples, strawberry and lime. We were offered beans, salsa and chips. Quite yummy. The salsa is very tasty. Later in the meal, we were offered salsa samples. The food was very good and the portions were not huge. It was my birthday so I was offered a free birthday margarita. Frances was an attentive server, quite a pleasure to get to know during our dining experience. Overall, a great meal and we'll be coming back next time we fly out of LAX.

My favorite Mexican food whenever I'm in the area. Francis and the rest of the staff is always friendly and super attentive. The restaurant has a family vibe where you almost feel like you're dining at your mom or Tia's house. The table chips were warm and also served with our favorite beans and salsa. This time I got the 2 gordita plate one with al pastor and the second with carne asada. Both gorditas were stuffed to the rim with a good portion of meat and all the fixings (beans, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream). They are also served with rice and beans. I love their green salsa it has a perfect blend of spice. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area.

This place has a remarkably high rating and after one visit I must agree that it is earned! I was in town to see an epic show at the brand new Intuit Dome and wanted to have a proper meal before going into the venue and this checked all of the boxes. Close to the arena, free available parking, a decent amount of tables, good prices, and (hopefully) good food. The vibes were immaculate, and what pushed this experience over the top was the service, which was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The chips, salsa, and beans they bring out on the house are amazing. So fresh and warm they felt like they came straight from the fryer, served with a salsa that is flavorful and bold with the perfect amount of heat and properly thin yet hearty refried beans, to boot. My brother and I both got the fish tacos, and again, expectations were met, and exceeded. The fish was a touch salty but the salsa and chips brought more deep flavor and punch than salt so it all balanced out wonderfully. Three big tacos on double tortillas with those amazing chips for $18 with self-serve cucumber water is like a dream come true, but here, that dream is a reality. As our excellent server suggested, get the spicy green salsa to go with the tacos -- it's a perfect pairing. If I'm ever in town from the bay to hit a show at the Intuit Dome or Kia Forum in the future I will absolutely swing by La Fonda before the gig to get the night started in a high note.

From the welcoming/friendly staff to the motivational decor, I recommend eating at La Fonda. The menu has variety options. Spacious dining and restroom located in rear of dining hall. The shrimp taco plate was decent. Glad I tried this local business. The shrimp taco plate comes with rice and beans, lime, small tortilla chips, salsa, and sauce options. The salsas and sauce are a bit spicy but bearable. Not for the weak pallets or digestive lining. The tacos were tasty, and served with corn tortillas, peppers and onions. Totally satisfied with this local Mexican eatery. They have a small drink menu which I ordered the sorrel/hibiscus. Definitely worth an add if you like sorrel. The tortilla chips are in house made. If you're in the Inglewood area or staying for a layover nearby, eat at La Fonda!
